Welcome to My Story

I officially launched Seaside Strategy in 2024, after spending many years as a freelance digital marketing specialist. My journey in digital marketing began a decade ago as a means to support myself while travelling around the world after finishing school. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of managing SEO and content for businesses across the globe and I am proud to offer my digital marketing services to Nanaimo and the rest of the island.

When I returned to Canada, I took on management roles in customer-facing businesses, with my last position being the Marketing Manager for Hudson’s Bay in Kelowna, British Columbia. During the pandemic, I started freelancing with small businesses, helping them establish a digital presence and transition into an increasingly online world. I assisted business owners in setting up their ad accounts, shared best practices, and offered tips to keep their customers happy.

Freelancing allowed me to dive deep into the nuances of various industries, but it also limited my ability to provide personalised plans and results. My passion for helping small businesses is what inspired me to create Seaside Strategy, so I could work closely with business owners and make a real impact.
